New KIPP School Open in the Linden Community: ENROLL TODAY!
KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) opened its doors this summer to address the need for high quality schools of choice. The free, open enrollment public school provides its students with a high quality college preparatory education. KIPP Journey Academy will empower students with the academic skills, character traits, and intellectual habits to succeed to and through college.

School Description At KIPP Journey Academy there are no short cuts, only hard work and high expectations. Students at KIPP Journey Academy attend school for three weeks in the summer. During the regular school year, they attend school from 7:25 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and two Saturdays each month. Teachers are available each night for homework help through cells phones and make frequent home visits. Along with rigorous instruction in core subjects students will develop their character and gain skills in philosophy, fine arts, and athletics.
